Umar

I started working for Eagle Security Protection Ltd as a Security Guard, performing security shifts at various sites across the West Midlands. Once I had gained suitable experience in the field, I worked closely with management to develop professional qualifications with the aim of joining the management team. During this process, I was able to witness the operations of the company and the passion that was brought the training aspect of the company.

Gaining qualifications

It was at this time I made the decision to gain the qualifications needed to assist in the training centre as a tutor, starting with gaining the teaching qualifications and the security qualifications.

Student interaction

It has been a great joy to interact with students who wish to work in the private security industry, help them learn and achieve together. I have not stopped with my own development; I wish to grow as the business grows so that I am able to assist with any new or required training courses that the centre wishes to deliver.

My Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
  • Working towards completing my Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.
  • Level 3 Award in the Delivery of Conflict Management Training
  • Level 3 Award in the Deliveries of Physical Intervention Training within the Private Security Industry.
  • Level 4 Award in Understanding the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.

Customer Reviews

Here’s a couple of comments from some of my students.

Jordan Langford

“I normally get nervous at meetings and training sessions, Sabia and Umar made me feel really welcome and comfortable during the course duration. A friendly atmosphere really helped me learn as I could focus on the material. Thank you and keep up the good work, I will be sure to pop in for a cup of tea as you suggested once my license has arrived.”

Aoife Harris

“Teaching Today I love you! Especially Umar. I was expecting a dull teacher reminiscent of my school days that would put me to sleep. Umar uses his youth and enthusiasm to make the material interesting and interactive. You can really tell he cares about his students.”
